SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The parents of a murdered Domino's Pizza delivery driver have filed a $15 million wrongful death suit against the company in Massachusetts.
A lawyer for Michael Lind and Lisa Bishop tells The Republican of Springfield the lawsuit filed Tuesday in Hampden Superior Court is also an effort make the company change policies that sometimes put delivery people into dangerous situations.
Twenty-year-old Corey Lind was stabbed to death in December 2007. Prosecutors say a Springfield man, Alex Morales, wanted to steal Lind's car and ended up killing him.
Morales was convicted of murder and is serving a life sentence. He is also named as a defendant.
A spokesman for Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino's Pizza Inc. said he cannot comment on pending litigation.
