Out-of-the-ordinary news from the folks at "Studio B"...

Bad Bear

We all know the story of "Goldie Locks and the Three Bears," where little Goldie breaks into the bears' house and steals their food. Well in Tennessee, it was a bear that did the raiding.

A woman says a big black bear somehow let himself into her house and sniffed out where the food was. But he didn't want any porridge or honey. He came for dog food.

The woman says the bear took the whole thing — a 50-pound bag of kibble — and the plastic tub it was in. The woman called 911 and her husband, but by the time they got there the bear and the dog food was gone.

The woman believes the bear is also responsible for snatching another bag of kibble off her porch last week.

Indecent Proposal

It wasn't exactly your typical "fairy tale" marriage proposal. He didn't have a ring. He didn't get down on one knee. But he did promise her the total package, and then showed it to her — when he started streaking down the street.

In fact, the only thing concealed in this whole story was a gun. Cops say another guy walking down the street saw a naked guy hiding in the bushes and shot him. The gunman was arrested, but the naked man wasn't. Police say he just wanted to show his girl that you have to take a risk sometimes.

No word on if she said yes.

Big 'Bounce'

She needed a place to live. So she simply went out and got one.

She walked into a mortgage office with two checks totaling $63,000 and walked out with the keys to a $330,000 house. But cops say she forgot a few things along the way, like the law and the fact that she only had 97 cents to her name.

The woman was sentenced to five years probation for forging those checks and ordered to pay more than $60,000. She says she was desperate and only had 15 days to come up with a plan before she was kicked out of her old place.

Return to Sender

A lesson to all would-be robbers: Before you commit the crime, make sure you can handle the guilt. One thief in Japan just couldn't deal.

Cops say he walked into a post office with a knife and walked away with more than $2,000. But after talking it over with his girlfriend he brought it back — with interest — and turned himself in.

He says he felt bad and wanted to clear things up "for her sake."
