Winning by a Hair

There's a new category in the "Guinness Book of World Records (search)." Along with the world's fattest twins, tallest woman and longest fingernails, there's now a world record for the longest eyebrow hair — measuring a little more than three inches. You can look it up in the "Body Parts" section. Top that. So long you can almost put 'em in a French braid.

He was keeping these chops all to himself until a co-worker noticed them. How could you not? The guy says he has no idea why his eyebrows grow like they do but he sure is getting a lot of attention now. "Bushy brows" says he could build children's hospitals around the globe and he'd still be that guy with the eyebrows.

The Anatomy of Rock 'n' Roll

There's long been a kinship between "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll." And there's a little bit of all three in Spin magazine's list of "Rock's 25 Most Incredible Body Parts."

First to the sex part: Madonna's belly button. Representing the drugs: Rolling Stones' guitarists Keith Richards' liver — something that's had more work than a snow plow in Anchorage. The magazine writes that it's so durable that "when Richards finally passes, they'll line the exterior of the space shuttle with his liver tissue."

Spin also includes the exoskeleton known as Michael Stipe (search), the lead singer of R.E.M. — his skull to be specific. Several other body parts are mentioned on the list, including Elvis' pelvis.
