The conservative Mulsim Kingdom's Muttawa — or religious police — have reportedly been out on patrol, enforcing a ban on Valentine's Day symbols.
Riyah florists and gift shops have been told not to even think about displaying roses, red-colored gifts or anything else in the capital that may represent the lovers' holiday, Reuters reports.
The Muttawa have also sent "agents" in camouflage clothes check to make sure their orders are carried out, AFP reports.
