WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A judge has denied bond for a 19-year-old girl in a robbery case who first gained notoriety after Palm Beach County police accused her of robbing a Girl Scout.
Stefanie Woods made a court appearance Wednesday. The judge ordered her to be held in the Palm Beach County jail without bond on charges of kidnapping with a firearm and robbery with a firearm.
Police said Woods assisted her boyfriend and another man in the kidnapping and robbery of a 50-year-old man for painkillers.
Another hearing is set for January 5th.
Woods first made the news when she was arrested in 2008 for stealing money from a Girl Scout who was selling cookies in front of a West Palm Beach grocery store.
