Let the Games begin! Video games that is.

The grand Astor Hall of the New York Public Library on Fifth Avenue is being turned into a gaming room Friday, featuring Wii, Xbox 350 and Playstation3. Gamers of all experience levels are welcome to participate between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

"Game on (at) The Library!" is a library initiative to bring technology, youth culture and learning together.

The NYPL says gaming at the library can bridge the gaps between children, teens and adults.

Game programming currently is offered at 18 NYPL branches in the Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island.
