LAKEWOOD, N.J. – A 15-year-old student is hospitalized after being stabbed on the grounds of Lakewood Intermediate School.
A spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says the boy's wounds are not life-threatening. Deputy Chief Michael Mohel says he was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
A 14-year-old boy has been taken into custody.
Authorities did not say what triggered the incident, which occurred outside the school after classes were dismissed on Monday.
