NEW YORK – It's one thing to party in just your panties and a shirt if you're Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan, but as a 41-year-old mama of two young boys isn't it time Pamela Anderson learned to dress appropriately?
The former "Baywatch" babe raised plenty of eyebrows on Saturday afternoon when she showed up to an Uber-posh art gallery event as part of Art Basel Miami Beach looking like she just rolled out-of-bed. Pamela donned only a pair of black and orange underpants with an off-the-shoulder shirt, topped off with a woolly beanie over her unbrushed blonde locks.
According to an insider, Anderson (who was accompanied by "Limp Bizkit" frontman Fred Durst, whom she dated back in 2003) seemed to enjoy the jaw-dropping stares and the fact she was getting much more attention than other guests including another Durst ex Paris Hilton as well as David LaChapelle and British designer Vivienne Westwood.

Sure Pammie has a bangin' body, but we can't help but wonder what her sons (aged 10 and 11) must think when they read stories about their mother partying in her panties, jumping out of a birthday cake naked for Hugh Hefner and calling fellow Hollywood hottie Jessica Simpson a "whore" on-air -- all things she's done this year alone. Last New Years Eve, Anderson even told Tarts that she'd left her boys to watch TV in her Sin City hotel room while she boosted the bank balance by hosting a wild night at hotspot PURE.
Ivana Trump Takes Time-Out With A-Rod
On the note of raising the mercury in Miami, Ivana Trump reportedly had a young new man on her arm last week. After just seven months of marriage, Trump filed for a divorce last Monday from her third husband but the 59-year-old is doing anything but attempting to avoid the spotlight.
Pop Tarts spies spotted the larger-than-life socialite at the opening of Mondrian in Miami on Wednesday where she was apparently all over a new mystery young fling. (Mind you, just a few days earlier Ms. Trump was caught canoodling with another boytoy John Davis in Paris).
But apparently the second A-Rod walked through, Ms. Trump dropped everything to give the baseball pro a big embrace and the two chatted like long-lost friends for quite some time.
In between sneaking in cocktails, we’re told Ivana approached every single person at the party and was acting so proper and political that guests were snarkily musing about what office she was running for. …
But back to A-Rod, it seems he and his "friend" Madonna have been going undercover together in the beachside city. According to Us Weekly, Rodriguez attended her recent Miami concert and the Queen of Pop appeared to be singing directly for the man of honor. However, A-Rod insisted that they are not romantically involved and told People Magazine that are "just friends -- that’s it."
Michelle Trachtenberg Was Sweet 17 & Never Been Kissed
Michelle Trachtenberg stars alongside Zac Efron (who actually plays her father) in the upcoming "17 Again," but in her life away from the lights and camera the 23-year-old has no desire to return to her teen years and deal with learning to lip-lock.
"I don’t know that I’d want to be 17 again. There’s that whole awkwardness, and I’ve kissed more boys now so I have more experience," Trachtenberg told Tarts at the grand opening of SBE’s stunning yet uniquely strange Beverly Hills hotel SLS on Thursday night. "When I was 17 I don’t think I had ever even kissed a boy."
Well the sexy starlet certainly attained a little more experience in that department just a few minutes later when Pop Tarts spotted her planting a peck directly on the lips of nightlife guru/ "The Hills" star Brent Bolthouse. The two remained close throughout the evening as they schmoozed with other stars such as Jermaine Dupri, Bonnie Somerville, the Hilton sisters, Jaime King, Rosario Dawson, Jared Leto and Hilary Duff.
Hmmm, so is this a new couple alert?
"Brent is one of my closest friends so I’m looking forward to giving him a congratulations hug," was all she said regarding their association.
A rep for Trachtenberg said they are just friends.
Meanwhile the hotel too is one which lends itself to some particularly peculiar pairings. SLS features a dual lobby concept (one is normal and chic) while the other is entitled "The Bazaar by Jose Andres" where many crazy characters roam and "shop without walls". Even the food combinations at the lavish affair weren’t your average hor’douves -- crab meat coated with raspberries, yellowtail sashimi on watermelon and beet meringue garnished with goat-cheese.
Clooney & Crawford’s Drunken Private Party
It looks as though George Clooney’s London party last week to raise funds for the victims of war-torn Dafur was one not to be forgotten -- or perhaps forgotten at least for some.
The star-studded soiree was saturated with A-list celebs including Eva Mendes, Matt Damon, Guy Ritchie, Scarlett Johansson, Bono and Claudia Schiffer. But according to insiders, it was host Clooney and his good friend Cindy Crawford that closed the party down well into the wee hours.
The 42-year-old former supermodel was snapped sneaking into her hotel around 4 a.m. Friday morning, looking particularly worse for wear.
Hmmm, one can’t help but wonder how much money was spent on beverages when it could have gone to the cause at hand...
Santa Exposed: Spears Goes Shopping!
Britney Spears has had quite a history with Kitson and regularly frequented the popular West Hollywood boutique during her not-so-sane days, so it was nice to see the songstress make a much more civilized comeback on Friday.
Pop Tarts spotted Miss Spears and her music manager Larry Rudolph strut into the new Kitson at Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA where she kicked-off her holiday shopping. Britney purchased toys and matching PJ's for her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James as well as a $600 Henry the Horse and a big Elmo.
But hey, our pop princess has been workin' hard promoting her new album "Circus," so she made sure to treat herself to a new pair of skinny jeans.
