Now that I am back in the USA, I can more easily access the show e-mail account (hence the number of e-mails posted today.) It means that I can try and catch up on answering many of the e-mails sent to me and also means I can put all of you to work writing the blog and I can sit back for a day and rest.

But before I post your e-mails, let me answer one question that I have been getting in many e-mails and that is whether or not a psychic (search) is being used in the search for Natalee Holloway (search). As it turns out, on my most recent trip to Aruba, I was introduced to a psychic during a search mission that we were taping.

I was told that she had been down there for several weeks and I don't know who asked her to come and I don't know if she is being paid. I do know that many in the search group were unhappy with her — and complaining that she was unsuccessful and that she was in the way of the search. I have no idea if indeed she was a hindrance to the search or not — or if the long hours and the heat contributed to people not getting along. My interaction with her was so brief that I did not get her name — I was simply introduced in passing and later someone told me who she is. I have no more information about her than that.

Here are some randomly chosen e-mails:

I think you are causing Arubans a lot of problems by being there all the time. Leave them alone. The girl was apparently looking for "summer love" and got into more than she bargained for. Move on to some real news,

A better question to ask on your Web site: "Should Greta and company leave Aruba?"
I bet you don't dare cuz the resounding answer would be: YES.
You, your tabloid tactics and your staff are nothing but a joke!

Saw you on Geraldo this weekend. Although others have commented on this, you PERSIST in pronouncing the family's name "Hal-o-way" when "Hollow-way" is correct.

ANSWER: Perhaps it is my Midwestern accent... I am not from Alabama.

FOX News Channel got it wrong? Much as I hate to criticize FOX, the Los Angeles Times got it right! His name isn't just Joseph Wilson, it's Joseph C. Wilson IV? Couldn't you guys and the rest of the media be more respectful? Just because Wilson's a liar? Oops, I mean Joseph C. Wilson IV! Couldn't you be a little more respectful of the liar like the Los Angeles Times?

ANSWER: On this one, for the moment, I will plead "not guilty." I have not yet had a chance to do a segment on this controversy — maybe tonight — and maybe tonight I will get the name wrong... but at least wait until I get it wrong to criticize me.

Greta,
It would be nice if, during your program, you mention a few times what time it is there in Aruba.
Thanks,
Donna

ANSWER: Aruba is in the same time zone as Washington, D.C.

Greta,
Thanks for the pictures of Joran's school. For such a prominent school, it doesn't look like much. I don't get to see these types of things (schools, pet monkeys, interior of Arubans home) when I visit my timeshare in Aruba and it truly gives me insight. You and your team are doing a fantastic job, keep up the good work and please don't forget about Natalee. We are coming to Aruba at the end of September and definitely plan to keep our eyes and ears open when we are down there. Keep hope alive! I just received my "Hope for Natalee" bracelet, it's the least I could do for the family. Thanks again, maybe we'll see you in Aruba in September!

Greta,
I can't believe you're wasting the time that you are on the Aruba situation. Since there's really nothing new it's simply a rehash to try to keep it alive. Interviews with the mothers, fathers, stepfather don't add anything. They obviously are as much in the dark as everyone else and contribute little other than their emotions.
In the meantime, I just delete the GretaWire and find something else to watch when "On the Record" is on.

Greta,
I have to be honest with you and tell you I had never watched your show in my life. Now with the Natalee Holloway case I am a huge fan of yours. I have told everyone I know to tune in for the latest information concerning Natalee. It is so wonderful to see the kind of support you have given this family.
My heart breaks for this family. I am a mother with three children (one blonde daughter) and I can't imagine the heartache they are experiencing. Please let them know that here in the United States we are praying for them and will continue to be concerned for them.
I am sure they have (well not really) looked into all the aspects of Joran's father. I hope they have looked at all the calls at his home and on his cell phone. I am 100% sure he helped dispose of her body. There is no way those three young kids could have done it alone. I hope and pray they will look at him very closely. He is involved. It makes me sick the way the father will not look anyone in the face and his criminal son loves to look at the camera. He doesn't look like a child that is under stress to me. He always seems to have a little grin on his face. I can't wait till the day they find him guilty and see if he looks at the camera with a grin at that time!
Keep up the great work. We need more people like you reporting news!

Would someone please tell Greta to pronounce HOLLOWAY properly? She says "HALLOWAY." The name is H-O, not H-A.
Thanks,

Hey Greta,
I am a high school teacher and I think that, just as it would be disgusting for me to sleep with my female students, any female teacher that sleeps with a male student is just as gross. A teacher is expected to protect students — not have sex with them. Please tell Jeff that he is a proponent of the double standard that should never be tolerated.
