Dear Friends of "FOX & Friends,"

While we may all weigh a couple pounds more after a thankful Thanksgiving, I'm glad you've all made it to another week with us around the "FOX & Friends" show.

I spent the weekend with my family, traveling through the Orlando area, acting as the program's goodwill ambassador. We spent plenty of time chasing that mouse around the 407 area code, and I was there for a couple of book signings, promoting my book "The Mr. and Mrs. Happy Handbook," filled with funny stories about marriage (and a PERFECT Christmas gift, I might add).

NOTE TO DISNEY WORLD: How about putting FOX News Channel on your cable TV inside the park... please?

On Saturday I had a fund-raising event with Give Kids the World, and thanks to the many Floridians who stopped by the House of Blues. Thousands of dollars was raised for their charity, and for that I thank you all.

On Black Friday, while millions of you got up early for the doorbuster specials, I was actually in the Orlando studios of our FOX affiliate, WOFL, assisting with their morning show. What a terrific bunch! Their show is a lot of fun, and they could not have been any nicer. Thanks to all of them there for a wonderful morning.

Later that day I was in Winter Park, Florida, where I was lucky enough to meet a couple hundred of the "FOX & Friends" fans who were spending their day, not getting flat screens for less than a thousand dollars, but stood in line for a couple hours to hear me talk about the book and FOX News, and then ask questions. It was a wonderful weekend, but I'm already looking to the future...

This Friday our program will originate from Hallmark's Crown Center in Kansas City, right next to the ice skating rink. We'll be there doing our show from 6 a.m. ET through 9 a.m. ET, and we invite all of Kansas City folk to stop by. I understand that the rink will let you skate free for a change if you show up! Also that night I'll be signing copies of my book at the Uptown Theatre in KC, starting at 7 p.m., when I'll give a little talk and then sign until I've shaken every hand and signed every book! And there are a lot to sign because so many of you are giving it out as Christmas gifts to your married friends and family members! And for that I thank you.

The book, "The Mr. and Mrs. Happy Handbook," is available wherever you buy books, but if you want an autographed copy, the only place to get one this week (other than Kansas City) is at www.happyhandbook.com and the great thing about them is if you buy two, they'll donate a third copy to a military family, just in time for Christmas!

So thanks for a great weekend in Florida, and I've got a feeling it'll be a great homecoming in KC on Friday. I hope to see you there!

Have a great week,

Steve Doocy
