MoveOn.org will use the Internet to hold three virtual town hall meetings to introduce the presidential candidates and their positions on the issues to its members.

The liberal activist group will survey its members to select which candidates they want to hear from. Democratic hopefuls Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards have agreed to participate if asked, according to the organization.

The candidates will discuss their positions on Iraq and respond to questions submitted in advance from MoveOn members during the first of the three online forums on April 10.

People will be able to view the video of the candidates through a Webcast or hear them speak via an Internet-based audio broadcast.

The remaining two town hall meetings will take place over the next few months. One will focus on health care, the other on energy and global warming.
