CANTON, Ohio – The mother of a former police officer convicted of killing his pregnant lover has been granted visitation rights to see the couple's 3-year-old son.
Bobby Cutts Jr. was convicted last month of killing Jessie Davis and their unborn daughter. He was sentenced to life in prison.
The couple's son, Blake Davis, was found home alone and gave investigators their first clues to his mother's June disappearance when he said, "Mommy's crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy's in the rug," and later, "Daddy's mad."

A Stark County Family Court judge ruled Tuesday that Cutts' mother, Renee Jones, will be permitted to see her grandson twice a month with supervision. Davis' mother, Patty Porter, has custody of the boy.
A court review of the visitation rights will follow May 13.
