When Hayley Phillips went into labor 11 weeks early on her bathroom floor, she expected both of her twins to arrive at the same time.

Her son Ryan made the first appearance, but Phillips, 31, had plenty of time before his brother Lewis came into the world. She was even able to get to the hospital in plenty of time for the second birth.

In fact, the apparently shy Lewis was born more than two days after his brother, London’s Daily Mirror reported.

“I nursed Ryan for nearly three days before I finally went into labor again,” Phillips told the newspaper.

It took so long for Lewis to arrive, doctors performed an ultrasound on Phillips to check and make sure the baby was all right.

“There Lewis was, wriggling around all by himself,” Phillips said. “It just looked like he was making the most of the extra space.”
