ST. PETERSBURG – A mother and her daughter were caught on tape boarding a school bus and allegedly slapping and poking a boy who reportedly fought with the woman’s 12-year-old son the day before, MyFoxTampa.com reports.
Karen Barber and her daughter, 15, are shown in a video released by St. Petersburg police confronting a 13-year-old bus rider on Friday, a day after he and her son allegedly fought.

Barber, in a red shirt, is shown on video speaking to the boy, who is seated. She turns to leave and then goes back toward him, this time accompanied by her daughter, in a black shirt and white pants.
The boy is shown being poked and slapped.
Barber and her daughter were charged with simple battery.
