Kidnapped: A group called Al Qaeda (search) of the Arabian Peninsula says it is holding Paul Johnson, an American civilian contractor in Riyadh. The group has issued its demands for Johnson's release. Will authorities give in? We’ll get reaction from Robert Jordan, former U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Matthew Levitt, senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

Terror Bust: A man charged with plotting to blow up a shopping mall in America has just been indicted. We’ll tell you where he wanted to stage his attack.

Deadly Day: Twelve people are dead -- including Americans -- after a car exploded on a busy street in Baghdad. Officials are warning that even more attacks may be on the way. We’ll get reaction from Dan Senor, senior special adviser to Paul Bremer and spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority.

Rebuilding Iraq: According to the New York Times the U.S. military has failed to meet its goals for restoring electricity in Iraq. Is that true? We’ll ask Brig. Gen. Merdith W.B. Temple, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Doctors vs. Lawyers: Some doctors are refusing to treat malpractice lawyers when they get sick. But with malpractice suits putting many doctors out of business, is it any surprise? We’ll ask Dr. Rick Miller, neurosurgeon, and Steve Pegalis, attorney specializing in medical malpractice.

Modesto Murder: The sparks are expected to fly at Scott Peterson's double murder trial in the next couple days because of who prosecutors plan to call to the witness stand.

Plus, we’ll have an update on missing college student Brooke Wilberger. Why did police call off their search for her?

And, country music legend Lee Greenwood will join us live in the “DaySide” studio!

Those stories and the latest editions of Only on Fox and Stupid Criminals on today's edition of "DaySide with Linda Vester."
