A Chicago college student who vanished after leaving a nightclub Sunday has been found unharmed, MyFoxChicago.com reported.
Katie O'Connell, 20, reportedly had been staying at a friend's Chicago apartment since she left the nightclub around 3 a.m. Sunday, the Web site reported.
Her father, Bernie O'Connell, with whom she lives, became worried when he hadn't heard from his daughter in days. He contacted police and media outlets to help him find his daughter.
Katie O'Connell finally contacted her family after she saw reports of her disappearance on the news. It is unclear why she had stayed out of touch with her family.
Bernie O'Connell said he was very relieved to find her safe and unharmed, MyFoxChicago.com reported.
