Everyone has a nuisance neighbor, but residents in Linden Hills, Minn., could have been seriously injured by how far one of their neighbors went, MyFOX Twin Cities reported.

Minneapolis police arrested 22-year-old Houston Housely Wednesday after discovering he was making bombs in his backyard.

Due to local home renovations, residents mistook the sound of Housely making and detonating bombs as the sound of construction equipment. By the time police arrived, he had set off one bomb and had a second ready to explode.

Housely told cops he was experimenting with household chemicals to create crude bombs, MyFOX Twin Cities reported.

The bomb squad was able to dismantle Housely’s second bomb. He faces a felony charge for producing explosives and endangering others.
