The long, strange trip of Michael Jackson's remains is finally coming to an end.
Reps confirmed reports that Jackson will be buried in Los Angeles on August 29.
"Michael Jackson will be laid to rest at Holly Terrace in the Grand Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 10:00 AM PST, on what would have been his 51st birthday," the family's rep said in a statement on Tuesday. "The private ceremony will be limited to family and close friends.

Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, said Monday that the arrangements were finalized only recently.
The burial comes more than two months after Jackson's sudden death on June 25. The investigation into the cause of his death continues, with investigators focusing on the conduct of his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray.
