A topless bar in Mount Vernon was robbed over the weekend of $30,000. Detectives are searching for two masked men who walked into Sue's Rendevous at 4:40 a.m. Sunday armed with guns and escaped with the cash.

No one was hurt.

Mount Vernon police Commissioner David Chong said investigators are baffled about how the men were able to walk into the bar through the front door when the bar is supposed to be closed at 4 a.m.

Chong said the 30-year-old bar manager told police that he and four other employees were in a back office with two bartenders when the two masked gunman walked in.

The robbers demanded that the employees put money from a safe and a desk draw into a garbage bag.
