A 22-year-old woman and her 5-year-old son were abducted at the Wheaton Metro station Sunday evening, according to Montgomery County police, who issued an Amber Alert for both victims.

Police believe Sara A. Hernandez-Torres and her son, Isaac Hernandez, were forced into a pickup truck by Carlos R. Delcid, 41, a former boyfriend of Hernandez-Torres, shortly after 6 p.m.

The truck is a red, 2003 Dodge Ram with a red cap on the rear and the words "Red Scorpion" across the front windshield, police said. It has Maryland Bay tags: 49914B/Y.

The child was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve shirt with a gray, green or yellow jacket, blue jeans and Timberland boots. He's 3 1/2 feet tall and 55 pounds.

Anyone with information was asked to contact police.
