Man Waving Sword in Intersection Charged With Assault

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Police have charged a man after they say he waved a sword in an intersection in Cambridge.

Forty-eight-year-old Zackaris Eaddy Jr. of Cambridge has been charged with second-degree assault and other offenses. He is being held on $70,000 bond.

Cambridge police went to the intersection Thursday and saw a man waving a sword. Officers ordered him to drop the sword, which he did, but then became combative when police tried to arrest him.
