An out-of-control brush fire has spread to a wheelchair and resulted in the death of a Tulsa County man.

Authorities say 56-year-old Earl Freeman was burning limbs on Tuesday night when his motorized wheelchair caught on fire.

A report from the Tulsa County Sheriff's office notes that flames engulfed both Freeman and the wheelchair.

The sheriff's office and the state Fire Marshal's office are investigating the incident, but the report notes that the death is considered to be accidental in nature.
