This will most likely be Tom Buckley’s last Christmas.

The 23-year-old from Northwich, Cheshire in England, has battled 13 cancers. He has lost an eye, most of his right lung and his left knee.

In September, doctors found a 14th tumor. It is lodged between Buckley’s left eye and his brain, so surgery will be impossible.

Buckley's immune system is so ravaged from previous treatments, that doctors do not want to attempt radiation or chemotherapy at this time.

“Doctors have given me 6 months to live,” Buckley said. “My only chance is that if I stay healthy, my bone marrow might recover enough for me to have some more chemo. What will be, will be.”

Buckley recently walked Britain’s coastline and raised $70,650 for the Christie Hospital in Manchester, England. He is planning another fundraiser for the Teenager Cancer Trust.

Buckley’s first tumor was diagnosed with cancer at 2-weeks-old. He was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, and that is when he lost his left eye.

Then, at the age of 19, he noticed a lump of his leg. Tests confirmed it was cancer. And the cancer kept spreading.

“I have still done more than most people,” Buckley said. “I have no regrets.”
