Some Indiana hospitals and clinics are removing magazines and children's toys from waiting rooms in an effort to stop the spread of the flu.

Home Hospital and St. Elizabeth Central in Lafayette removed magazines from waiting rooms and stopped a "courtesy cart' service that brought reading materials and toys to patient rooms.

Clarian Arnett Hospital and its outpatient clinics have also removed toys and reading materials, citing flu concerns.Several other Indiana hospitals have implemented visitor restrictions to help stop the virus.
