Monday night went reasonably well on air. What you don't know is that before the show, at about 8 p.m. ET, the power went off in my office. This is not fatal, but it makes it much easier when you are in the "TV business" if your televisions and computers have power. This is particularly true within two hours of show time.

I am not sure why I lost power and, as luck would have it, no one was around the building to help me. The building engineers go home at 8 p.m. -- just about the time I lost power. I called early this morning and was told that my computer and televisions now have power.

To make the show "perfect," I was told at about 9 p.m. that we could not "find" one of our guests. No one had heard from him for several hours and messages left on his cell phone went unreturned. We decided to simply scratch the guest. Of course that meant that we had to refigure the entire show rundown and adjust times for other guests. It turned out to be a minor problem.

I have received e-mails from many of you wondering when you are going to get the promised show bumper stickers. They are coming! The person who is helping me with them had law school exams last week, but the exams ended last night and she is back at work today. In the meantime, I have been addressing envelopes (with my computer not working -- no power -- I found myself with "extra" time last night to address envelopes.)

Some of you have received the bumper stickers and have written me. One viewer -- Rose -- sent me some pictures.
