Is the knot really tied this time?

Anna Kournikova (search) and Enrique Iglesias (search) were married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, a few weeks ago, Us Weekly magazine reports. "Everything is awesome. We are married," the magazine quotes Kournikova as saying at a charity tennis event in Florida Sunday.

Ivy Mollenkamp, Kournikova's publicist, refused Tuesday to confirm or deny the Us Weekly story, saying, "We never comment on her personal life." Iglesias' representative, Stacy Boniello, also had no comment.

Court officials in charge of registering marriages in Puerto Vallarta (search) and neighboring Nuevo Vallarta said they had no record of such a wedding. But the former tennis pro and the Latin pop star could have had a religious wedding, which would not be legally recognized in Mexico.

Kournikova, 23, is no stranger to wedding drama. There have been numerous reports in the past few months that she and Iglesias, 29, were already married. And she was briefly married to Russian hockey player Sergei Fedorov in 2001, though at the time she denied it.
