“Sex and the City” fans have another reason to celebrate—the cult television show and $153 million grossing film is returning to the big screen, Us magazine is reporting.

According to Us, “SATC” star Kim Cattrall confirmed the plans for a sequel on Britain’s “The Paul O’Grady Show.”

“Yes, there will be a sequel,” Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones, told former Spice Girl Melanie Brown during the interview, Us said.

In September, Sarah Jessica Parker added weight to rumors of a sequel when she told Us that she would do a sequel if there was a good storyline for the script.

Cynthia Nixon also told Us that she had a few sequel ideas in mind as well.

“I would love to see [my character Miranda] and Carrie and Charlotte and Samantha all go off on some wild mad cap adventure somewhere,” she told Us.
