Katharine McPhee Sings on 'The View' After Resting Vocal Cords

After keeping quiet for three weeks to mend her bruised vocal cords, "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee is talking — and singing again.

McPhee co-hosted "The View" today. She explained that she missed the first few weeks of the Idol tour because her doctor ordered her not to talk or sing. She denied rumors that she had a relapse of her bulimia, or she thought she was too good for Idol. She says she is "so grateful" for everthing the show did for her.

McPhee joins the tour tonight in Pittsburgh, and tomorrow she and the other touring Idols will meet the president at the White House.
