Irate Woman Dials 911 Over Lack of Shrimp in Fried Rice
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A woman called 911 recently from Dallas-area restaurant merely to complain that she did not receive the extra shrimp she had ordered -- and she may get away with the "emergency" call without facing punishment, KDFW-TV reported on Tuesday.
“I always get the shrimp fried rice, so I said I’m going to get extra meat this time,” the woman told a 911 operator on Monday. “But he didn’t even put extra shrimp in there and I asked him, ‘Can you give me extra shrimp or can you give me my money back?’”
She added that the employee at A&D Buffalo’s in Haltom, Texas, “sort of hollered so I said I would call the police.”

"She started yelling and screaming, brought her boyfriend in and they started making a scene in here,” Alex Kim, the restaurant’s attorney told the Dallas/Forth Worth FOX affiliate.
By the time the officer responded to the scene, the woman had left. Police said the woman is not likely to be punished for the call.
