TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – A negotiator for ousted President Manuel Zelaya says the opposing factions in Honduras' political crisis have reached an agreement on a key point.
Zelaya representative Victor Meza says the two sides have agreed on the wording of a point related to the deposed president's return to power.
He would not say whether that means Zelaya will be allowed to serve out the rest of his term, which ends in January.
Meza told reporters Wednesday he was going to talk to Zelaya at the Brazilian Embassy, where the deposed president has been staying since he sneaked back into the country.
Zelaya was ousted June 28 after he ignored court orders to drop a referendum to ask Hondurans if they wanted an assembly to rewrite the constitution.
