A 41-year-old homeless amputee was beaten to death with his own crutch on a San Diego street, and police are on the lookout for the attacker, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
The beating reportedly occurred Monday night when the victim got into a fight with another man. Police told the newspaper they don't yet have a motive for the attack.
Despite having an amputated leg and using a wheelchair, the victim was able to stand and was standing at the time of the incident, the Union-Tribune reported.
Police described the attacker as a Latino in his 30s, about 170 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a mustache and sparse beard, the paper reported.
