A hearing has been scheduled in the case against former astronaut Lisa Nowak, after an almost yearlong hiatus.

On Oct. 21, the appeals court in Daytona Beach will reconsider a judge's decision to toss out statements Nowak made to police and evidence found in her car after the infamous astronaut love triangle incident in February 2007.

Nowak is charged with attempted kidnapping, battery and burglary with assault. She has pleaded not guilty and is free on bond.

Authorities say Nowak stalked romantic rival Colleen Shipman at an Orlando airport and tried to get into her car, then attacked her with pepper spray. Shipman, the girlfriend of former space shuttle pilot Bill Oefelein, was able to drive away.
