Allied troops and Iraqi fighters traded heavy tank and artillery fire throughout the day Friday in the southern city of Nasiriyah. Several buildings, including a power plant, were ablaze in the city, the southern entrances of which have been dubbed "Ambush Alley" by coalition forces.
