A Fulton County grand jury indicted three men accused in the killing of boxing champion Vernon Forrest.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard says the three suspects were formally charged Tuesday in a 10-count indictment accusing them each of felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and other charges.

The suspects are 30-year-old Charmon Sinkfield, 25-year-old Jquante Crews and 20-year-old DeMario Ware.

Authorities say Sinkfield is the alleged trigger man, Ware allegedly robbed Forrest and Crews drove the getaway car. Howard said prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty.

The 38-year-old Forrest was shot at an Atlanta convenience store on July 25 after he chased a man who robbed him of his championship ring and Rolex watch.
