Gay, Transgender Monks to Get New Behavior Guidelines
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}New guidelines aimed at curtailing the behavior or transgender and gay monks will introduced in Thailand, the BBC reported.
A senior monk told the BBC there is a concern over such activities as wearing tight, revealing robes, having effeminately-shaped eyebrows and, wearing make-up and carrying pink purses.
The new guidelines, which have been explained in detail yet, will be part of a new "good manners" course at the Novice Demonstration School and would be taught at other schools.
