WILMINGTON, Del. – Delaware State Police say a 4-year-old Pennsylvania boy woke up in Delaware after a road trip in the wrong car.
Police say the boy climbed into a car outside his relatives' house in southwest Philadelphia, because it looked like his mom's car.
Shortly after midnight Tuesday, police responded to a Wilmington, Del. business where a woman who had driven from Philadelphia found the boy sleeping in her back seat.
Police began searching for the boy's family. The boy's mother, meanwhile, filed a missing persons report in Darby Borough.
Police say the boy's mother had dropped him off with relatives who didn't realize he had gone outside. No charges are expected.
