CHICAGO – Searches of the Chicago River have not yielded any clues in the disappearance of a University of Missouri at Kansas City student, police said.
Jesse Ross, 22, of Belton, Missouri, disappeared early Tuesday on the city's Near North Side.
Ross was last seen at a party for participants in a student United Nations conference at the Sheraton Hotel. He never returned to his room at the Four Points Sheraton.
Police said they have no reason to suspect foul play. Calls to Ross' cell phone go to voice mail, and there has been no recent activity on his phone and credit cards.
Ross is 5-foot-10 and weighs 140 pounds, with bright red hair and freckles. He was last seen wearing a green warm-up jacket and blue jeans.
