"They threw him on the hood of the car," Kathy Collins of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department says in the story. "One of the three suspects, after robbing the victim, turned around and went back into the convenience store to finish a video game that he was playing."

In the footage, the 63-year-old is seen walking out of the Star Food convenience store. A man in a black tank top is shown distracting the victim as another in a T-shirt accosts him from behind and puts him in a chokehold, NBC6.net reports.

Police say the men had watched the victim use a one hundred-dollar bill to complete his $20 purchase and waited for him to leave the store to get his wallet, the story says.

The 63-year-old escaped with minor injuries.

Two men were in custody but a third was being sought and police were asking anyone with information about the crime to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
