Florida Man Arrested in Steak'n Shake Road Rage Stabbing
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A 24-year-old man was arrested after police say he stabbed another man in an apparent road rage incident outside a Steak'n Shake restaurant.
Witnesses say Michael Montijo was driving in the Orlando area when he reportedly swerved in front of another car at about 2 a.m. Thursday, according to MyFOXOrlando.
Both vehicles wound up in the Steak'n Shake parking lot, where Montijo then allegedly entered the restaurant and emerged with a knife, waving it at the other car’s female driver, MyFOXOrlando reported.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Orange County deputies told MyFOXOrlando.com that passenger Hunter Rosier got out of the car in an attempt to settle the argument, but was stabbed by Montijo — who was "subdued" by other passengers.
Both Montijo and Rosier were taken to a local hospital with injuries. Rosier was listed in critical condition.
The incident happened less than two weeks after a cook and a waitress at a St. Louis Steak'n Shake were murdered during an apparent robbery. Two brothers who used to work at the Missouri restaurant have been charged with the killings.
