Five people face charges of assault and resisting an officer after a brawl at a West Palm Beach flea market on Easter Sunday.

Nearly 100 Palm Beach County sheriff's deputies were called in to break up the fight.

The crowd included people from a recreation area inside the flea market. Authorities say some of the people involved in the fight were gang members.

A sheriff's spokeswoman says some of the deputies were hit with billiard balls and cue sticks as they tried to arrest the people fighting, but no serious injuries were reported.

Deputies shut down the Sunshine Flea Market yesterday as a precaution.
