Hello, fashionistas!

As you're well aware, we inaugurated our new president, Barack Obama, and while this is thrilling for some and maybe not so for others, Republicans and Democrats alike cannot deny the sheer excitement of it all. Society-like balls and high-profile bands, political fodder, and fashion chatter was amongst the hubbub in Washington, DC on January 20th. And while the pundits debated and the reporters divulged all of the juicy behind-the-scenes schmoozing, many of us, including yours truly, was waiting not so patiently to see, WHAT SHE WOULD WEAR!?!?

Those of you who've read my articles know that I'm a huge fan of Michelle Obama's style, but was gravely disappointed on election night. With that said, I jumped on board and hoped for a little change when it came to her formal attire. And I truly didn't think Michelle would disappoint. She was almost sure to choose an American designer, which is a good move politically speaking, and while she loves taking style chances, I was sure she'd choose something sophisticated and elegant.

Prior to the inauguration, I had put my Photoshop skills to good use to give you a taste of what Michelle might have picked for her big night. I'd love to hear your thoughts! What's your favorite? E-mail me at fncimag@foxnews.com.
