A Dallas firefighter leaving work found a dead baby by the front step of the firehouse.

Officials said the fetus was found Sunday morning wrapped in a blouse and placed in a CVS pharmacy bag.

Police said the boy looked to be clean and cared for.

Texas' Baby Moses law allows parents to leave their infants at designated locations, including fire stations. The law only applies when an infant is delivered unharmed.
