— The organization says 31 million people are traveling by car.
— About 4.2 million are predicted to get on airplanes.
— And 1.9 million will take buses, trains and boats.

— The greatest number of people on the road are coming from the West, according to AAA.
— About 7.4 million car travelers are leaving from the West.
— About 6.7 million will be from the Southeast.
— About 6.6 million from the Midwest.
— About 5.8 million from the Northeast.
— About 4.6 million from the Great Lakes.
