CAIRO, Egypt – Excerpts from a video tape broadcast on the Arab satellite station Al-Jazeera on Monday showing Osama bin Laden, his top deputy Ayman al-Zawahri and a man identified as a Sept. 11 hijacker. The excerpts were translated from Arabic by The Associated Press.

The apparent hijacker referring to Sept. 11:
"We left our people to send a message, dyed the color of blood, to the whole world, friend and enemy alike. The s that the time of humiliation and subjugation is over. It is time we kill the Americans in their heartland, among their children, and next to their forces and intelligence."

The apparent hijacker referring to The United States:
"It is time we proved to the whole world that it (the United States) is nothing but media propaganda and a bulk of enormous lies and false allegations so that it can become great in the eyes of the world. But the truth is like you saw it, we killed them outside their homes, thanks to God. But today, we are killing them in the midst of their homes."

Ayman al-Zawahri, referring to the Sept. 11 hijackers:
"Those 19 brothers who went out and worked and sacrificed their lives for God, God granted this conquest that we enjoy today."

Al-Zawahri referring to the Sept. 11 attacks:
"The great victory that was achieved was because of God's help and not because of our efficiency or power."
