Deputies: Louisiana Teens Poisoned 2 3-Year-Olds With Glass Cleaner, Detergent and Paint

Two teenagers are accused of contaminating milk that two 3-year-olds drank while attending programs at Lakeview High School in Natchitoches Parish, according to authorities.

Deputies said the young children were taken to a hospital after drinking the milk. They were taken to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, where they were observed and released.

Deputies arrested a 16-year-old and booked him into the Ware Juvenile Detention Center in Coushatta. The juvenile's name was not released.

Seventeen-year-old Chasman J. Evans was arrested and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.

Both teens were booked with mingling harmful substances.

The two suspects are accused of mixing glass cleaner, liquid detergent and paint and putting the substance into two 8-ounce milk bottles. The bottles were then placed back in the lunchroom cooler.
