NEW YORK – The results of Tuesday's "dance-off" between Kelly Monaco (search) of "General Hospital" and John O'Hurley (search) of "Seinfeld" will be in on Thursday night, as ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" (search) airs its results show.
Following controversy over whether Monaco won just because she's on an ABC soap (O'Hurley was the favorite), ABC decided to have a "dance-off" on Tuesday night (sensing that a suspicious public must be placated before they bring the show back in November).
For the rematch, each pairing performed Latin, ballroom and freestyle dances.
Unlike the original 6-week series, though, they were judged by only viewer votes, rather than a combination of votes and judge scoring.
The results will be revealed Thursday night (9 p.m. EDT).
