Conservative Ideas Don't Require Affirmative Action

The University of Colorado announced plans to create a "chair in conservative thought" at their very liberal campus. But already College Democrats are fighting the move, saying it's politicizing the academic environment.

Which is funnier than clown pee.

I mean, the University of Colorado's campus is nothing but politicized — the students are all lefty conformists with politics as edgy as Howie Mandel's head.

Worse, watching these tools defend professors like Ward Churchill — the jackass who thought 9/11 was awesome — makes you realize why college kids often make the best victims when hitchhiking.

Even so, I'm against this chair, for a number of reasons.

First off, C.U. spokesman Bronson Hilliard notes that you shouldn't oppose the chair because there are no stipulations that the professor be conservative. "We have French teachers who aren't from France," he says — which tells you all you need to know about Bronson.

The fact is, they're going to treat a course on conservatism the way they would religion: a combination of mockery and dissection — something a stand-up comic would do to a pinned-back frog.

We don't need it. Conservative ideas don't require affirmative action. If anything, we thrive off the intense liberal brainwashing that occurs on campus. For many of us, that's what drained us of our own liberalism: being around liberals.

In a way, it's like getting chicken pox — but less fun.

And if you disagree with it, then you sir are worse than Hitler.
