Los Angeles, Calif. – A report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control says one person died and 18 others were hospitalized after taking drugs at a New Year's Eve rave held at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
The report released Thursday found that ravers had overdosed by taking a variety of Ecstasy tablets and other drugs at the party, which was has been held annually since 1998.
The report says that a 24-year-old man died of multiple drug intoxication.
About 45,000 people attended the rave.
