The search for a Texas prison guard accused of stabbing his wife and mother-in-law to death is now focused in Georgia after his car was found there.

Rosenberg police Lt. Colin Davidson said Tuesday that the Honda belonging to Albert James Turner was found partially submerged in the Chattahoochee River in Cobb County and that authorities there are on the scene.

Turner, 44, faces murder charges after an argument at the suburban Houston home of his in-laws turned violent early Sunday, Davidson said. He said the women were killed in front of at least two children, including one who called 911.

Davidson had alerted authorities along Interstate 10 because Turner has family near Orlando, Fla.
