Car Found, No Sign of Texas Man and Estranged Wife

Police searching for a missing woman in Dallas have little to go on after finding the stolen car used in her abduction.

There is no sign of 25-year-old Misty Rose Scott, who police said was taken by her husband Bobby Shayne Scott after he allegedly ran over the woman's friend as she was helping her leave him.

Misty Scott called Tracy Arauju on Tuesday to pick her up at a local hotel after the couple had a fight, MyFOXDFW.com reported.

As the two women drove away, Bobby Scott allegedly followed them along a nearby service road, rammed the car with his minivan and ran over Arauju after she got out to inspect the damage.

He then jumped into Arauju’s SUV and drove off with his wife inside, according to MyFOXDFW.com.

The stolen Kia Sportage was later found abandoned in northwest Dallas with no blood, no weapons and few clues, the station said.

Arauju was rushed to a local hospital, where she is in critical condition and reportedly fighting for her life.

Police believe that Misty Scott’s life could be in danger.
